Alright well first off they call me Bonez. I'm 20 years old and have lived in staten island, ny my whole life.

The name Bonez was came up with through my last name which is Riccobono which means good wealth in italian therefor I'd like to describe my artist name Bonez meaning I'm striding for good wealth.

I never thought I would be one to make music but one day it just hit me so I decided to start writing lyrics. I've only been rapping seriously for about a year. Many people don't like to give artists or producers a chance but not me. I will forever remain humble and show love if love is given.

I currently work mainly with my 2 producers ApolloX and Spliff both of FHANTOM$. FHANTOM$ is what we like to call our group. The meaning behind that is we are the fhantoms of the rap game. This being that our music as whole is underground and not recognized but when we come out people know exactly who we are.

Bonez has an upcoming project "FHANTOM LEGION" with production from FHANTOM$ as well as a few producers from the up and coming group TRIBE GVNG.. Set date tba.

Apple's Stock Prices Fall After iPhone 5s Announcement

Apple announced two new iPhones yesterday, but the company's stock has turned south in the day following the event in Cupertino. While the lead-up to Tuesday's smartphone reveals had inspired some apparent confidence in investors, within a couple hours Apple found itself below the $500 per-share mark.On Tuesday, at around 2pm, Apple's shares had dipped about 2 percent. But on Wednesday, Cupertino is continuing to struggle with a low-point of 6 percent loss, or around $465 a share.

Of course, it's important to remember Apple has seen similar lags in share prices after previous announcements.According to The Guardian, the low stock prices could be in response to the iPhone 5c. While the on-carrier arrangement offers a $99 iPhone, the unlocked price is still seen by some analysts as being too pricy.

Breaking Bad Spinoff Series Better Call Saul Confirmed

AMC and Sony Pictures Television confirmed today that they have reached a licensing agreement for a spinoff of Vince Gilligan’s landmark AMC/Sony Pictures Television series Breaking Bad. As conceived, the new series is based on the show’s popular Saul Goodman character with the working title Better Call Saul. Plans call for Saul to be a one-hour prequel that will focus on the evolution of the popular Saul Goodman character before he ever became Walter White’s lawyer.

The possibility of a Saul Goodman spinoff series was revealed last April. With the recent ratings hike that Breaking Bad has been enjoying, it's felt like more and more of a distinct possibility, as the network would want to capitalize on the audience interest in the show, and characters, as quickly as possible.In May, Gilligan, who was developing the series with Peter Gould, the writer who created the Saul Goodman character, said that they hadn't yet decided if it would be a prequel or sequel to the events of Breaking Bad.

"I like to think of Saul as a cockroach in the best possible way,” Gilligan told Vulture, indicating that the crafty lawyer may indeed survive the series' carnage. “This is a guy who’s going to survive while the rest of us have been nuked into annihilation. He’ll be the worst-dressed cockroach in the world.” Now that we know that Better Call Saul will indeed function as a prequel, Saul's fate on Breaking Bad is a little more up in the air."[Saul] kind of knows everybody...everybody in town, all the major players. And he has a hand in the business every which way he can," Gilligan told Yahoo! TV back in April. "So we just have to figure out exactly what kind of story we're telling. Is it a story about his creation of his own character? Because Saul Goodman, as he explains in his first episode, is not his real name. He is a self-created character, much like Heisenberg. Do we tell the story of his origins? We're still trying to hash that out. But there are a lot of fun possibilities."

It appears that we may indeed be getting a glimpse at the man he was, before he became the ambulance chasing, money laundering, lawyer-for-all-occasions, Saul Goodman.

Alan Sepinwall of Hitfix reports that deals still need to be made for Gilligan and Gould, and it is currently unclear if Gilligan will be showrunning the new series. Better Call Saul is also likely to  go straight to series, with no pilot.

Our opinion here at Batch Selection is that Floyd has his match cut out for himself we see it as Canelo has the most punching power that Floyd has seen.

Mayweather however is the smartest fighter in history and knows what he is in for.

First off whats your name for our readers if they do not already know and do you go by any alias?

-Nikki, that is my alias. Sorry, government name stays confidential. ♥
Location? And Age?...

-From the 805, however I am LA based now. Just turned 24 years young in June.

So how did u get started in modeling?

-I originally got my start with John Robert Powers (JRP) when I was 5, wasn't what I wanted at the time so I stopped. It's always been something I'm passionate about, so it drew me back in about 3 years ago or so. I honestly started by networking my little booty off! "Its all about who you know" that is so true in this industry. I made friends left and right and just started working my way up from the bottom.

What has been your biggest achievement to date?

-Well, I'd like to think I haven't reached it yet. There's still so much farther to go. But if I'd have to pick something, I'd have to say working on all the different videos. Biggest personal achievement is probably "Project Nikki" - my aspiring model project.

What kind of modeling do like to do? Style wise?

-Runway has my heart, but we all know Im a tad vertically challenged lol. I really enjoy it all to be honest. Representing clothing lines, music videos. I love highfashion, glamour, lingerie, bikini. I'm not picky, Im blessed to be doing anything.

Is this a hobby for you or fulltime and where do you you see yourself taking your carreer in the next year or two?

-I wouldn't call it a hobby for the fact that I take it so seriously, and it really does take up most of my time, but unfortunately, no. At this point it's not full time, I do also work and go to school. Since I've started on this path, it's done nothing but go upwards, I can only hope to be as blessed with opportunities in the next year or two ♥
Any brands your following or really feeling there vibe?

-Raw Caviar Self Made (shoprawcaviar.com) I absolutely love their style and what they stand for. They really hit home for me. I adore Guess, would be a dream to work with them one day, and I have an addiction to Foreign Exchange.

Off the record, what do you like to do for fun when your not working the lens?

-Okay, are you ready for a secret? I am a bit of a tom-boy =x

I love sports, basketball mostly. I love to watch the Lakers play, paintballing, quading, jet skiing, hiking ^_^ I love all the adrenaline kinda things. Buuuuut, what woman doesnt like to shop!? You can never have too many shoes / clothes.

What other aspects of the modeling business do you get involved in besides being in front of the lens?

-I've also ring-girl'd, walked in fashion shows, ect. But I'd have to say my biggest aspect of the business aside from shooting is "Project Nikki."
This is an aspiring models project that I created a little over a year ago. What I do is I cast, I have aspiring models (male and female) send me an email with 2 photos, age, contact number, and why they want to start modeling. Each cycle we select up to 4 people to come in and get 'packaged.' This means I give them a quick run down on the industry, what to do, where to start, what not to do, and how to brand yourself. For the length of the project they have access to the studio or location we are shooting at, my team of professionals (all of them went to school for what they do) including photographer, hair and makeup artists, assistants and stylists. They are allowed up to 4 wardrobe changes, and within about 3 weeks to a month I provide them with business cards, a bound portfolio, prints, and 'know-how'. Now I can't stress enough that I am not an agency. This project doesnt guarantee that I will get you any work. This project is set up to teach you how to get your own work, and to give to the tools to do it. However, IF I have any castings that fit your description and you have the right attitude and are easy to work with, by all means, I will submit you.

Oscar De La Hoya: Back in Rehab!

Oscar De La Hoya has just checked himself back into a rehab facility ... two years after completing a stint in treatment for cocaine and alcohol.

De La Hoya revealed the news in a statement to the media, explaining why he won't be ringside during the Mayweather vs. Canelo fight this weekend, one of the biggest fights ever put on by his Golden Boy Promotions company.

"I will not be at the fight this Saturday to cheer Canelo to victory since I have voluntarily admitted myself into a treatment facility," De La Hoya said.

"I explained this to Canelo and he understood that my health and longterm recovery from my disease must come first."

"Thank you for your understanding. I ask for your support and privacy during this difficult time for me and my family."

Oscar checked into rehab back in 2011 -- and in a previous interview said, "My drug of choice was cocaine and alcohol."

iOS 7 Coming to iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch September 18th

Apple announced today that it will finally roll out iOS 7 to iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch owners starting September 18th.Originally unveiled at WWDC earlier this year and made available to developers shortly thereafter, the latest version of Apple's mobile operating system features a completely revamped look that drastically moves away from the skeuomorphic design that the company has used since the first iPhone. Of course, the update is beyond skin deep — a number of new software features have been added with iOS 7 as well.

In addition to the flat and colorful icons and typography, iOS 7 brings with it a new Control Center for quick access to settings, an updated version of Safari, improved multitasking, enhanced Notifications, and, finally, AirDrop and automatic app updating. Apple's newiTunes Radio will also be included with the update.

The new Camera app now includes built-in filters and the option to choose a square aspect ratio for easy use with apps like Instagram. Once photos have been taken, they are automatically grouped by categories like locations and dates in the camera roll. Siri has also been updated, and can now search from Twitter, Wikipedia, and image searches.

iOS 7 will be available for download on recent mobile Apple devices starting with the iPhone 4, iPad 2, iPad mini, and 5th generation iPod touch.

iPhone 5s

During an event on Tuesday morning, Apple finally unveiled the next iteration of the iPhone. As expected, the iPhone 5S carries over most of the features of the iPhone 5, but as is the case with every "S" model, there's still a marked upgrade in regards to internals and some exterior hardware. Namely, the iPhone 5S will include the A7 processor and an improved camera with dual-LED flash.

The iPhone 5S will ship in three different finishes: "space gray," silver, and the previously-rumored gold. While there's only minor changes between the iPhone 5 and iPhone 5S aluminum bodies, the iPhone 5S also includes a redesigned home button. And after weeks of speculation, the iPhone 5S will in fact include a fingerprint scanner for security.

The days of the four digit passcode are gone, thanks to Touch ID built right into the sapphire glass home button. A stainless steel detection ring runs outside the button, which turns on the sensor to read your fingerprint. Even better, Touch ID will allow you to authenticate for apps, such as iTunes. No more entering that password!

The new A7 is the world's first 64-bit chip on a smartphone. According to Apple, the new processor is 40-times faster than the original iPhone, and graphics are 56-times faster; the chip runs OpenGL|ES 3.0 like the newer Nexus 7. According to the developers of Infinity Blade 3, the iPhone 5S feels "five times faster" than its predecessor. The newly revealed M7 chip will work alongside the A7, as a "motion coprocessor," constantly measuring motion data from the gyroscope and accelerometer.

And thanks to an improved battery, we should see a nice upgrade in the iPhone 5S getting through the day. Apple stated the iPhone 5S will offer 10 hours of 3G talk time, and 250 hours of standby.

The iPhone 5S also adds an improved camera, even if the megapixels remain at only eight. A F2.2 aperture with a 15 percent larger sensor features 1.5 micron pixels and a five-element lens. The addition of dual-LED flash allows the camera to offer what Apple referred to as "true tone flash" to capture both warm and cool tones, especially important for accurately portraying skin tones. As previously announced, the iPhone 5S will ship with the new iOS 7 mobile operating system.

The iPhone 5S starts at $199 for a 16GB model with a two-year contract. The 32Gb model is $299, and the 64GB model is $399. The iPhone 5S will also be available unlocked for $649, 16GB; $749, 32GB; and $849, 64GB. Apple has also announced new cases for the device, available in multiple colors for $39. The iPhone 5S will begin pre-orders today, and Apple expects to ship the new iPhone on September 20.

The New Lamborghini Gallardos is a complete masterpiece

Ps4 pros and cons

1. No worries or hassles about online requirements, used games, long term ownership
2. 100$ cheaper than Xbox One
3. Slight power advantage could allow some unique experiences later in the generation, and could lead to superior PS4 versions of cross platform games
4. Lots of qualithy first party studios such as Naughty Dog promise some special next gen experiences
5. Much improved control pad over the DS, looks actually usable
6. Touch pad should help with UI/media/web aps control
7. Much smaller box, more discreet in entertainment centre
Cons
1. Lack of next-gen vision, still relying on disc swapping (or going digital download wholesale, which I will if I go PS4 as I hate disc swapping), UI smoothness and usability still and unknown quantity, media functionality undetailed and general historical poor form on these fronts (even as recently as the Vita) do not bode well for a slick, usable ecosystem
2. General lack of reliability when it comes to online services and updates – this morning it was announced that the latest PS3 firmware was bricking some PS3s. Seven years into this console and five months away from the next this sets off serious alarm bells for me as to Sony’s competence in this area.
3. Much less servers to rely on for cloud functionality
4. Throwing their one innovation under the bus to score cheap points. They drop the Eye so they can be £80 rather than £20 cheaper than Xbxo and instantly make it an irrelevance. Developers won’t support it if they don’t know every console has it.
5. Small box with little ventilation makes me think this will either be a) a noisy system with powerful fans or b) prone to overheating
6. Lack of launch window exclusive games that really appeal. Only SecondSon and The Order: 1886 really appeal to me and it's a bit depressing that the two launch titles I would likely buy – Watchdogs and FIFA 14 – would both be on Xbox One as well.
7. Lack of support for external harddrives. No matter how much Sony fan boys may insist on it – the ability to replace the harddrive is not a better feature. In an ideal world I’d want both features, but just being able to replace the harddrive means you are paying for something you will eventually dispose of. If I want 2tb+ on day one, for Xbox One I add an external and then have 2.5tb, nothing wasted. On PS4 I replace the internal harddrive with a 2tb model and then I have basically paid for a 500gb harddrive I have no further use for. If I do it further down the road I have to go through the laborious process of transferring data over, whereas with Xbox One I simply add more, keeping everything where it is on the internal one. Sorry Sony fanboys, this is a worse situation to be.

So in all, for me, Xbox One is the more exciting system with slick and usable services and UI and (so far) the better games – but has some deal-breaking drawbacks. PS4 is the safer and risk-free console with great promise for the future but at present is underwhelming, and has a high risk of having poorly implemented services and UI.


It’s still the PS4 for me at current, but with a few U-turns in some areas of contention, Xbox One could very much be back in contention.

Another possible deal breaker in mymind. 3. Slight lack of power over PS4 could become an issue later inthe generation, and could lead to superior PS4 versions of crossplatform games 4. Huge size of the console, obviously due tooverheating paranoia, makes it less of an attractive proposition in myentertainment centre 5. Higher price over PS4 6. Used game restrictionsonly bother me in that it seems to favour big businesses like GAME andGamestop. Will my local games shop be allowed to sell on Xbox Onegames? I don’t patronise the used game industry personally as I thinkit is choking the real games making industry, but I don’t like thesebig-corporate favouring policies. 7. Fear over what could happen at theend of the generation. While it is more logical to think that they’djust run an update that removed the online check, there is the spectreof risk that all your paid-for games could become unplayable.

Even With Everything We Still Have To Update You: Obama: US cannot ignore Syria chemical weapons

President Barack Obama has said the US cannot "turn a blind eye" to the use of chemical weapons in Syria.

He was speaking after returning to the US from a G20 summit in Russia, which failed to produce international agreement on military action in Syria.

The US accuses President Bashar al-Assad's forces of killing 1,429 people in a poison gas attack on 21 August.

EU foreign ministers say there should be no action before the UN reports back on chemical weapons attacks in Syria.

Mr Obama faces a tough week of trying to persuade Congress to authorise military action.

He will also seek public support in a White House address on Tuesday.

- Panthers son! Random me being from Los Angeles, but yea... Panthers all day. Don't sleep on the 49ers this season though, I also been liking the Ravens and Michael Vick.

BS: what's your work week like? Mon-Fri?


- The work week is actually Monday through Sunday for us, being seven days a week. There's always work to be done, not to be cliche but if you think about it, if you want to provide the hottest in music, video, sports, fashion, technology one must keep up at the pace those industries move... It's fast. I blog all day, and hit the meetings I need to be at. Lol.

BS: Have you been with BLKDMNDS from the start? And what should we look out for in the future?

- I've been with the BLKDMNDS since the beginning and it's what I've been doing professionally for over two years now.

First Sit Down and Inside Look With: Jamie Fraiche

Q: first, off what name do you go by and what’s behind the alias?

A: I go by Jamie Fraîche, fraîche is French for “fresh”. My best friend (@jazzyvice) and I were just recently reunited after about 3 years of separation; we grew up together, we both lived in really small country towns that are next to each other and instantly became best friends. We both did the MySpace thing, and had nicknames on there (very close to the ones we have now actually haha), that kind of stuff. But you know how you meet people and become close to people that help you be yourself a little more? That’s the kind of relationship we have, so we were always doing crazy photo shoots, heavy into the internet, really into weird styles, and definitely stuck out (mostly in a negative way) in our home towns. When she graduated and moved away, I started become less myself because the way we are isn’t really accepted where I was, I was harassed about it and that’s hard to go through on your own. Somehow after all this time we decided to live together this past year in Austin, and it was literally like going back in time. We started getting really into fashion, music, social networking, etc all over again. We came to the conclusion after a promotional gig in South Padre that we wanted to do music together, and we wanted catchy names that fit us, just like in high school, and from that came the creations of Jamie Fraîche and Jazzy Vice. This past year has definitely changed our lives, and I’m beyond happy with the outcome.





Q: Weve followed you for a while noticed you were doing the clothing are you still doing that or why the shift?



A: I am still doing clothing, but we’ve had some other goals come up that were more important at this time, therefore full attention isn’t focused on High Wasted Life like it has been in the past. Once we get on track with everything else we can then dedicate time and money to making the store and brand everything it’s supposed to be. (www.highwastedlife.com)



What brands are you rocking right now or who do you think is really doin it in the streetwear game?



Right now I’m rocking Illuminati Clothing (www.illuminaticlothing.com), a really dope brand by my friend Rellion Talerico. He’s doing an amazing job with his brand and has really worked hard to promote his store and website. His hustle is admirable; we work really well together and plan to do big things with the brand.



We notice you do a lot of self promotion do you model? If so for who have you modeled for, (Plug, Plug)



A: Haha well, I always hate when people say they model and really are only taking pictures of himself or herself or getting photographed by a friend. I feel like to claim that you’re a model you should be signed or at least getting paid to be in front of the camera. The word “model” is thrown around to lightly, and what models do is actually very hard work for it to be that way. So with that being said, no, I’m not a model. I network with people, if your brand is dope and I feel like you’ve got what it takes, I’ll work with you and wear your clothing/ post pictures in it so all of my followers can see it and check you out. I’m not here to hold anyone’s hand, I get offered free product from various clothing companies every day, but if I don’t feel like you’ve done enough yourself, then I’m not into it, because half the time it’s shit and they’re hoping I can make all of my followers buy from them, and that’s just not how it works.

Aside from that I’m just really creative, I had my own photography business when I was 16, and went to The Art Institute for about a year until my plans shifted. I’ve always done fun photo shoots, mostly with my best friend through out my youth, Kat. When she passed away a little over a year ago, it was hard, and confusing, but I’ve found my place and I feel like she’s on this journey with me. When it comes down to it, photography, art, and fashion are things that have always been a part of me, and I like to share it with people, creativity should always be shared.



Location and Age?



A: I’m 22 and my location is kind of up in the air right now, haha. I just moved out of Austin this past weekend, and now I’m at my mom’s house in Lufkin, TX (my hometown) visiting for the remainder of September then I move to Los Angeles. I’ll be staying in Santa Monica when I get there and Jazz is of course coming with me.



Whats your next move in the game we see you going far...



A: Ah, I’m excited that you asked this question; my next move is music. Jazz and myself have decided to live out some childhood dreams and get this music thing going. We’ve been steadily waiting to get to L.A. to get started. There have been a couple times where we were going to rush into and do a cover of a few different songs but each time we back away and just chill. We want to make sure we’re ready and our sound is perfect, a lot of people rush into their music careers and don’t produce the sound they’ve always hoped to. We both have really bad habits of rushing into just about everything, so we’ve finally just slowed down. We’re just basically studying right now, carefully calculating our first big move and our first single, we have a lot of ideas, to the point where we’re almost bursting at the seems, so I think that everyone will be really pleased with what we give them. She’ll be singing, I’ll be raping, and our sound is going to be different than the typical girl duo or female rappers out there. Vice&Fraîche coming at ya.



Are you working independent or do you work with any one else



A: Well at this point I guess everyone can tell I’m working with Jazz, haha. I talk about her too much. It’s definitely a “we” thing in all that I do. Joined at the hip. But I couldn’t do any of this without her and she couldn’t do any of this without me. We’re each other’s rocks, we want the same things, we have the same drive, we’ve gone through so much together this past year and it’s only made us closer and stronger. From her having to sit by my side in the hospital after I was jumped to me having to console her through major family issues, to messing up our lives time and time again due to heavy partying, to deciding we had to change if we wanted anything good to happen and making that change within ourselves. Now we’re more focused and stronger than ever, sometimes you’ve got to go through struggles and pain before you find yourself and figure out what you truly want.

Rockstar Games Amps Up Grand Theft Auto 5

On the whole, it looks like Rockstar Games has really amped up thegameplay for GTA 5. Game mechanics have been upgraded, all the betterto shoot bad-guys/good-guys/ambiguous strangers with. Oh, and did Iforget to mention… shooting deer too! GTA 5 offers the option to huntwild animals in-game, which will either be very fun or challenging toour morality (expect to find this blogger kneeling over the corpse of avirtual Bambi looking for the ‘Forgive Me’ button on his controller).You can also play sports such as golf and tennis in-game. These arealways fun to try a couple of times, but generally little more than adistraction from the core gameplay.

A new suspend mode lets you switch off the PS4 and store the game'current state in its memory. When you return to the system later and press the power button, the game will instantly carry on where it left off, with no need to boot the system and load the game.

My name is Jen Quero and I am the owner of Brutallic, an indie lifestyle brand
from NYC.

Here is a bit of info on our brand:

Brutallic is an indie line based on Urban Fashion & Pop Culture. We are the latest brand to come out of the urban lifestyle of New York City. Influenced by it's daily grind and massive creativity. Being in the apparel industry for over 10 years, I starting out with high fashion menswear clothing and currently I design for children's wear, I've done a whole range of different styles and trends over the decade. I have always thought about designing my OWN apparel, with my own vision on things without having to take direction from someone else or a huge corporation who thinks they have the heartbeat of whats new and fresh..but in reality are so far removed from the real world. I was also influenced by my peers, who are trying to do their own things as well. All of the creativity I see around me is what motivates me.

This is why I started Brutallic. I hope to take this brand further, with new products. I am taking extra care in every detail, making sure I put out the best quality product I can produce. I see Brutallic as a reflection on myself, and I always want to have pride in everything I design. The brand is unisex, I personally have always hated the cliches of pinks and flowers for girls. I often go to stores where I love the menswear designs, and hate all of the women's wear. As if women can't be edgy, or into comic books, or geeky. This is why I use a unisex Tee, that's comfortable and slim fitting, and looks great on both men and women. I hope to create a movement with artists, skateboarders, hip hop heads, and fashionistas bonding together, influencing each other, and enjoying great looking apparel.
